Honor Society Sells Out Blender Theater
Posted: 27 Jul 2009 | Melody
The gents of Honor Society brought their Full Moon Crazy Tour to NYC on Wednesday, July 22nd. The guys sold the place out and played to a packed audience of fans, friends and family. They played songs off their debut album, Fashionably Late and fan favorites including “Here Comes Trouble,” “Nobody Has to Know” and of course, “See U in the Dark.” The crowd never stopped dancing and singing along. There was no need for the guys to teach the audience the “Oh oh’s” to “Don’t Close the Book,” the crowd immediately knew what to do. The guys shared that song was very special to them because it was the last one they wrote together in NY, before moving to LA. The next night they played in Philadelphia and after the arena show, played the Theater of Living Arts in Philly. Coming out to support the band were fellow tour mates the Jonas Brothers & Jordin Sparks.
The guys will be bringing their Full Moon Crazy Tour across the US this summer. Be sure to check out their myspace for all the dates and ticket information. You don’t want to miss it!

Philly Show Review
Posted: 26 Jul 2009 | Melody
Honor Society is mentioned briefly in a review from the Jonas Brothers' show in Philly.
Opening act Honor Society, the first band the Jonases have signed to their new Jonas Records, played a strong five-song, 20-minute set. Drummer Alex Noyes, who formerly drummed for the Jonas Brothers, played dramatically, constantly lifting his sticks high, standing on his kit or leaning way over backward. Jason Rosen did double duty on bass and keyboards, often at nearly the same time. And lead singer Michael Bruno came down on the catwalk to dance.
The best of their set was “Where Are You Now,” which will be featured in the upcoming movie “Bandslam,” and their first single, the closing “See U in the Dark.”
Honor Society also played a solo set at Philly’s Theater of Living Arts a half hour after the Jonas show ended.

Honor Society rock the Blender Theatre in New York City

Honor Society rock the Blender Theatre in New York City
In true form, up & coming Rock Band–Honor Society–went all out on their show at The Gramercy Theatre (AKA the Blender Theatre), in “honor” of their original New York fan base.
The four piece boyish band featuring Mike Bruno (lead vocals / guitar), Andrew Lee (bass / vocals), Jay Rosen (keys / vocals) and Alexander Noyes (drums) brought down the house with several new tracks off their forth-coming album, “Fashionably Late,” as well as a few old favorites that are familiar to their hometown crowd in New York (including my fav: See U In The Dark).
The guys, all completely deserving of their new found fame and the incredible opportunity to tour with the likes of Jordin Sparks and the infamous Jonas Brothers, are in their middle of their cross country U.S. Tour: “Full Moon Crazy.”
Never have I ever met a band so dedicated to their craft, so committed and convinced of their brand and their sound early on, and so willing to go out of their way to give their fans what they want.
I remember the first time I ever saw them perform, at Sin-e in the Lower East Side back in…2005!? And, I look forward to their next big NYC-based show. I have no doubt that before long, I’ll be waiting in line for tickets to see them at Madison Square Garden.
If you haven’t experienced them yet, be sure to check them out online, and to purchase their first record being released off of Jonas Records, “Fashionably Late,” on September 15th, 2009.
Congrats to the guys on all of their success!
